About Stoney Plains Organic Farm:
Stoney Plains Organic Farm began as a dream by Robert and Patricia Meyer, who had been living in St. Paul, Minnesota, until a job relocation brought the couple to Olympia. They planted a 60-by-80-foot garden in Lacey. Eventually, they moved to a 10-acre piece of land in Tenino that they hand-tilled. Now, the farm comprises 60 acres and is operated by Patricia and her son, Patrick. In addition to having farm stands at several farmers markets throughout the Puget Sound Area, Stoney Plains offers a CSA program.
