About Penn Cove Shellfish:
No visit to Whidbey Island is complete without visiting Coupeville and tasting the world-famous Penn Cove mussels. The Jeffords family established the farm in 1975. The hydrological and geographic qualities of the cove make it the most prolific area for growing shellfish in Washington State. Penn Cove shellfish are renowned for their sweet, clean flavor.
