Tilth, which opened in September 2005, is one of only two restaurants in the country to receive organic certification from Oregon Tilth. We specialize in “New American” cooking and feature the best from regional producers. We renovated a house that used to be home to a Burmese restaurant and brightened the look with a buttery interior and soft-green exterior. We want our customers to feel warm and welcomed when they dine at Tilth.

What more wonderful way to “experience” Seattle then to eat locally grown foods. I was a visitor to the city over the weekend and this was one of the highlights of my trip. I highly recommend going out of your way for this!

Hi Maria
When I know that there was a professional chef coming to our class and gave us lecture, I was so excited about it because I love to cook, I cook five days a week. After your lecture, I learn about the beauty of our local food (the plum) is so good, and the beauty of farmer’s markets. I will try to shop in the farmer’s market in the future because after your lecture I realized that if I buy things in farmer’s market the money will straight to the farmers. I would want to visit the farmer’s market in the future, because of the transportation difficulty I can’t do the daily shopping in the farmer’s market. I learn the purity of food in Table talk, and I think in your lecture I can relate them together, if the food itself if fresh and pure, don’t need to add anything the food itself will be delicious. And finally thank you for coming to our class and gave us a lecture, I will visit your restaurant sometime.
